Daily Journal Continued April 6,1999, By-William Thomas Thompson Framing some of my first art paintings to keep in my collection. My Friend from Furman was here yesterday to help me frame and do work on the house. It is so good when someone comes along to help especially with heavy things. To save the original arbor over the center of the house,I had white metal bent into caps 10 feet long to save those beautiful heavy wood beams. I went to Home Depot to buy salt treated2x4"x12feet to replace the cross braces and wait- ed for someone to load them on the buggy for me. This man I know was ahead of me getting a plywood sawed and talking to delay the worker. I never liked this person and I forgot why. Finally this person disappeared and I got help but when I got to the checkout he stepped in front of me but offered to let me go first. I told him to go ahead of me. He is appropriately named Pete. He is more important I guess although I cannot figure why,he seem to be in a hurry but I was the one with a man on the roof and night coming. It was when he offered his hand to shake that I remembered why I dislike him most. His hand shake is like putting your right hand into a bone crushing machine. I see through people all too well. Let us take time to be holy in all things and eat slow to live. Our children are subject to 33 vaccinations before they are two years old including 2 types of hepatitis B shots. If all of this does not kill them now it may later in life. Drug companies lobby congress to make these awful vaccinations mandatory. Poor child-ren,what future do they have in this age of conspiracy. Beware. Surrender your life to God and be somebody not of this world. If I am sugar free,I am pain free with energy in mind and body. I work twice as long in a day when sugar free and feel good. I per-form twice are well without the drag of sugar on my total body. I know the refined sugar is burning fast an storing the fat. Why do we carry all that around? Life is great, let us enjoy every minute Let us paint the heavens and praise the Lord God of all creation. Give your best of service to God and to man your brothers. A friend loaned me a book written by John McDougall,M.D. entitled the McDougall plan and on the cover it ask questions. 1-Are Amer-icans among the most malnourished people in the world? 2-Are the meat and dairy industries brain washing us? 3-Is the medical pro- fession ignorant about our nutritional needs? Has our government given us faulty information on proper diets? The answer is yes!!! Serving man is serving God when you are your brothers keeper. Tea even without sugar gives me a dry mouth. Restaurant food with city water contains poisons to begin with. The more poison water you drink the more harm you may do unto yourself. One of my main missions in life is to bottle good clean drinking water right out of a rock. I consider city water to be dangerous even to take a bath in. Cooking waters should be clean to start a meal right. It is very hard to break away from tradition and from the sugarized grocery stores of processed prefabicated foods carring death and disease with all the hydrogenated oils and fancy foods they tempt us with. Stay out of the grocery stores. Milk your own cow and do not die from the junk food they fed us from the deception of that great conspiracy of the food industry. Grow your own garden where you can control your own future by living healthy and feel great. That I may be free Dear Lord from foods that donot agree with me. Daily Journal Continued May 5,1999, By-William Thomas Thompson A counter clockwise wind sweeping water off the Atlantic ocean. It has rained all week and is still raining here where for two weeks in a row a storm has stalled out over us and high winds has pulled moisture in off the Atlantic to gullywash us and blow down everything that will blow down,I have delayed my trip from Monday A.M.to 6p.m.today Wednesday flying direct to Las Vegas Via Houst-on on Continental Air Lines. GSP now has a nonstop to Houston on a Brazilian made Jetliner 50seat twin. I was afraid we would have trouble with the storms and/or tornados over the Gulf States but we flew out of it early and had clearskies most of the way. After completing the carport roof, this second rain came and I found out that the newly covered roof leaked as water stands in the center and it must be jacked up to level so the water will drain off and the covering must have solid tar to hold the water from leaking. Mathew24-4..."Take heed that no man deceive you." It is rare for us to have such rain if ever and killer tornadoes across the county just West of us like in Oklahoma and inArkansas with the high winds and driving rain, surely the end is near. With school kids killing kids and bombs being made by kids in a sense-less society that spells the end is near. With a press conference scheduled at 11a.m.tomorrow,I need to be there. The only sure way to get on was at 6a.m.flight but thank the Lord I got on. From my look at the T.V.weather map, this severe weatherfront extends from the Gulf of Mexico North to the great lakes and wider toward the North. My bestroute to get around it seem to be South via Houston and them North West nonstop to LasVegas where I arrived at 10p.m. to rent a car from Savmor and drive North across the strip and up I-15 and 95 toward Reno to the fabulous San Afee hotel and Casino where the desk clerk was just printing out the reservations to be complimentary to the artist guest of this show, the end is near,to be a mini show of the original in Baltimore at the American Visi-onary Art Museum, This planned symposium of the artist inpart and the curator,RogerManley, sponsored by DilettentePress of LosAngles is a milestone in the nonstop book sales of this great art book. Math5-5"Blessed are the meek:for they shall inherit the earth" Make me always humble dear Lord to serve you and fear you and to pray when I fly especially this first 1000 miles that turned out to be very smooth and quite. As we turned to land at Houston the sun shined through on my face and it was of great heat reminding me of the power of God Almighty of how He made the sun for good. Defile not your body or your mind with satans shining lights. People who suck cigarettes and blow smoke in the face of family and others within range are to be pitied as stupid idiots but it is time to put their fire out. Water them down or stomp them out, do something to stop them before they kill themselves, their fam-ilies,friends and others. Every puff is a puff toward hell where all burn but donot burn up. The evilsmoke from tobacco is a sign for sure of the devil within people manifesting himself. When a women smokes she is sending a message to the world that she is a loose person and will do anything, she is free and the smell tells the world what she is. This of course is her beginning to smoke. Her ending is habit, misery and death. I pray,Lord deliver them of this awful habit and work a miracle in the hearts of people today Mr.Tom Stanley April 8,1999 Winthrop University Rock Hill,South Carolina Dear Mr. Stanley Re;Visionary art It was indeed an honor to be with you and your students at Winthrop. I feel however that you may have wanted to hear more about how I paint. My journal has not yet reached a point where I can settle down to art alone although I should have chosen a day of it to read that described in more detail the way I paint. I have been concerned about this and wondering if I could ever stay on the subject since I paint about prophecy being fullfilled as I see it happening every day in so many world events. (Some call it spiritual or soul art from the inside of me.) I find it hard to describe how I paint art because with me it all just seems to happen and I do not really know why or how I do it. Everyday I intend to describe it but find it impossible with all there is to say otherwise that seems so important. like sugar is easy for the body to burn and the fat so hard. Others descibe my method of painting so well. Jim Mann calls it wet on wet but I do not yet know what he means by that term. In any case if I am ever invited to speak again I will attempt to better control the sub- ject to art without all the current events and my journal life. It was originally suggested that I paint a picture daily to cor-respond with my journal but I have not,Its hard like burning fat. (Health, the art of living and feeling good and strong) I actually feel more like a consumer advocate than an artist. All my energy is spent trying to get well. What is bad for me to eat is bad for the world, what is healthy for me is healthy the world. I hope to change people to better health by eating better food in this synthetic world. I estimate half the people are sick in mind and body. Fried foods with white flour and hydrogenated corn oils like margarine is killing America I believe. My motivation daily and consistantly is to show people like they are in time relative to Bible prophecy. Things happen for me on canvas that amaze me. I have no talent. The inspiration is from God yet I must control it,there is a temptation always to misuse it for personal reason. "I will redefine your work as fine art"Dr.James Mann Jr.LVAM To answer your question about the hanging of my big painting,I do perfer it be hung all at eye level. Roger Manley wanted it to be put up in a spiral display but Mark Ward at AVAM hung it like a cathedral ceiling I believe for space reasons. Some of the places on the world tour it is planned to show next year complain that they do not have enough space and have ask for a reduced size. (I do not see it as fine art or folk art but visionary art.) The kingdom of God is not controled by the church, not the modern church. I am reluctant to answer the question about my membership in the church of today. I have mixed feelings. I understand why they do not allow art in the protestant movement. My art is diff-erent and I am disappointed that it is rejected by the church but happy that it seems to be popular with people,I feel alienated by the church. My mission is on the street. I still love the church.
